My counseling practice integrates holistic mind and body-oriented therapeutic approaches, depth psychology, and client-centered care. I offer you support to move past your blocks, calm your fears, and experience your truest self. My experiential approaches are guided by your values and aims.
I hold a Master of Arts degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling and have additional education and training in mindful-somatic therapy, psychospiritual counseling approaches and transpersonal psychology.
My orientation towards existential and humanistic theories, my specialization in mindful-somatic therapy, and my experience facilitating deepening the imagination reflect my focus on developing each client’s own path toward wholeness.
Some issues I specialize in addressing are anxiety, relationship issues and insomnia. I also work specifically with those who are sensitive to their environments or individuals who are questioning their sexuality, gender and/or identity.
Mindful-Somatic Experiential Therapy
Through invitations to work experientially, I assist each client to more fully embody their unique self while being in relationship with others. Mindful awareness of thoughts, feelings and physiological responses in the body can help bring attention towards automatic, unconscious or preferred states of consciousness.
Deep imagination is when specific facilitated guidance is used to accomplish goals that the cognitive brain alone cannot.
